Vigil Hospice Volunteer
Make a real difference in someone's life!
Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
As hospice patients approach the end of life, extra support is needed for both patient and family. We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside, and offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sing softly, or read scripture or poetry to a patient, and provide support for the family at the patient’s bedside.
Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends, and on an on-call basis.
We also service patients in Kokomo and surrounding counties such as Cass, Howard, Tipton, Hamiliton, Madison, Delaware, Peru, Henry, Black Ford, Grant, Miami.
