ORGANIZATION: National MS Society - Ohio

The position will be responsible for assisting the Leadership Events Manager in planning and executing the MS Walleye Fishing Tournament and the Dinner of Champions events in Akron, Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland. You will assist staff with organization of events and administrative projects.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • MS Walleye Fishing Tournament
    • Participant registration & tracking
    • Logistical Preparation including day of flow of events and evening silent auction
    • Solicit auction items
    • Assist with marketing and promotion of event
    • Monitor emails and phone calls -- respond to constituent inquires, assist participants with registration questions and needs
  • Dinner of Champions in Akron, Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland
    • Participant registration & tracking
    • Solicit auction items
    • Logistical Preparation including day of flow of events
    • Assist in volunteer oversight day of event and volunteer training
    • Research opportunities to help market event and recruit new attendees
  • Assist staff with organization of events and administrative projects (take initiative by asking what else can be done to help the project go smoothly)
