Openmind Projects (OMP) is an award winning nonprofit NGO in

Southeast Asia, with a Training Center in Thailand and arranging special Learning Camps for underprivileged youth as well as supporting field projects in schools, communities, national parks and marine centers.

OMP has always relied on the dedication and skills of volunteers to offer support to our projects and have an impact in communities.

As our ambition is to help more people, we require volunteers/interns to participate in volunteer communication and fundraising work to help us generate much-needed support and donations to continue and expand our work.

We are looking for talented volunteers/interns with a good understanding of and experience in social media to help us reach out to international volunteers, supporters and donors via Internet and direct contacts, emailing and newsletters.

Tasks

As our social media volunteer/intern, you will help communicate Openmind Projects work, special projects, events and volunteer opportunities in Southeast Asia.

You will also help create fundraising information and material for donors, such as audiovisuals, graphics, texts and events.

Skills and qualities

You should have a good understanding of and experience in using social media such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Fluent in English.

A demonstrated interest or experience in international relations, aid and overseas volunteer work is an advantage.

Adaptable and interested in working in a cross-cultural environment.

Who we are.
Openmind Projects is a nonprofit NGO, charity, based in Thailand. We started in 2002 with the mission to help people to better learning opportunities and the idea that IT can be the poor man’s best help.

Openmind Projects was born as a pioneer computer training project in Thailand. The first three projects were two orphan homes and a village in Thailand.

we support projects, schools, national parks around Southeast Asia and arrange Learning Camps for disadvantaged village children, migrants, refugees, stateless.
