SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEERS
Currently we have ongoing openings for the following positions:
Summer Program (JUNE):
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm during JCPS summer break
During the summer, in the month of June, we have a Summer BAFOL BEARS ART Camp that provides more fun ARTistic activities for Special Needs Students (8-12yrs) at the California Community Center (1600 St. Catherine Street) in Louisville, KY. The students on the Spectrum of Autism can come in the afternoons from 1:00-4:00 for activities that are centered around ARTS as EDUCATION! Volunteers are needed to help in the afternoons with a specific age group, to provide extra support for the gardening program, and get to know the children.
We also provide a small snack that is very nutritious and organically friendly.

We want to create an environment that makes it easier for people universally to connect, collaborate, and provide answers. All while raising public awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Description
At BAFOL, we aim to rebuild HOPE, where it’s been damaged or lost. We strive to ensure CONFIDENCE ,where there is none. By being a VOLUNTEER OPERATED/RAN ORGANIZATION, we work with those individuals and families on the Spectrum of Autism in need, for FREE. Those individuals of whom are underprivileged, and those whom are abandoned, we strive to rebuild and restructure lives for our future generations. Our focus lies on Global Community concerns, which include GREEN LIVING, GLOBAL ASD EDUCATION, AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS, and Inclusion. BAFOL firmly believes in the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child". We work globally on creating the most knowledgeable, understanding, and well equipped society for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Because, the solutions needed to work with anyone who is diagnosed with this condition, is delicate. We believe that anyone is able to teach someone else how to be compassionate, understanding, giving, and loving!
