Safisha Africa Welfare Foundation is a charity that supports the kids in the urban surburb of Nairobi,Kenya.The organization was registered in 2010 with the mandate of providing free education to the kids who could not be in school.They are given free classroom,text books,exercise books,and warm meals which to many of them is the only meal they have for the whole day. We recruit volunteers from all over the world to support us run the charity. The kids are from very poor families from 3- 13 years of age. 90% of the kids are from single mothers with no support and also living in difficult situations.10% are orphans who have no father nor mother and rely on well wishes and support from generous friends. The classes are eight from Baby care,primary 1 and 2,Grade 1,2,3,4,5,6 and seven. Immediately you chose our project we skype with you and get to know you so that you can ask any question before you come to Kenya. We also orientate you when you arrive on what you can do. The organization arranges for the pick up when you land at the airport and you are guarantered safe travel after landing. During weekends we organize for you travels where you will visit and if you also look forward to going on the safari we schedule days for you out of the busy schedule.
