About

As our College Admissions Consultant, you will be able to work closely with high school students in establishing a detailed strategy and planning to apply for colleges. You will work with the Executive Team and our Director of Education to determine how to optimize AAMPLIFY’s resources for AAMPLIFY students when they prepare for personal statements, applications, and interviews.

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on the AAPI community, join an emerging nonprofit with a bold mission, and to boost your resume by building relevant skills in counseling, college admissions and non-profit work.

What you’ll do:

  • Meet with students (virtually) to guide them through the brainstorming, writing and finalizing of college personal statements and applications.

  • Research colleges and provide recommendations for AAMPLIFY students.

  • Contribute to the research efforts of AAMPLIFY and increase the wealth of institutional knowledge available to AAMPLIFY.

  • Support a broader community effort to raise the visibility of the AAPI community.
