As Director of Finance, you will have the opportunity to work with the Treasurer and Events Coordinator to execute fundraising events and manage our budget. We are looking for someone with a passion for fundraising or grant-writing to help us grow our organization and provide scholarships for students.
If you are an innovative thinker and a meticulous accountant with a passion for improving student scholarships and summer programs at AAMPLIFY -- we’re looking for you! What you’ll do:
Serve as the primary liaison between community organizations, corporations and individuals to highlight how they can support our students and summer programs
Work with the Treasurer to maintain and manage AAMPLIFY’s budget
Spearhead fundraising initiatives and grant proposals
Process AAMPLIFY reimbursements and oversee finances
Who we’re looking for:
College student or young professional
Lover of Excel, meticulous organization, numbers and creative fundraising ideas
Passion for empowering underserved AAPI youth to become social justice leaders
Experience with Excel and working with budgets and non-profit resources required
Interpersonal and teamwork skills

Description
AAMPLIFY is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit that empowers underserved Asian American youth to become social justice leaders. Every year, we host a Social Justice Leadership Program for low-income high school students that aim to pursue careers in law, government, non-profit or social enterprise. Our program includes an intensive summer training and ongoing development with rotations in leadership, social justice and college/career planning. By helping these students recognize their leadership potential and ability to change the world, we give a voice to the needs of our community.
