Help end hunger in our community! Volunteers are needed to set up the venue, direct traffic, sign in food recipients, bag food, hand out food bags, and clean up the area after food distribution. This is an outdoor activity rain or shine, and volunteers will be on their feet the entire time. Great for families, school groups, scouts, etc.!

The Giving Hands Food Pantry provides nutritional food to residents of Newton, Jasper, and Butts counties to combat food insecurity, build relationships, and share the love of Christ.
Description
The Giving Hands Food Pantry assists those in need once a month with our appointment based, indoor shopping system. It is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. We are a partner of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and we are their largest distributor in Newton County. We also receive generous in-kind grocery donations from local retailers and community partners.
