Share your love of dance with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club! Our Bremerton Teen Center is seeking a dance instructor to teach basic dance routines once a week on Thursday’s from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Location: Bremerton Teen Center (3102 Wheaton Way, Bremerton WA 98310)
Position: Volunteer Dance Instructor
Time Commitment:
- 30 minute Volunteer Orientation (one time)
- 30 minute online training (one time)
- 1 hour per week, Thursday’s 5:00-6:00 p.m.
- Minimum 6 week commitment
Summary of Position and Duties:
- Teach kids ages 12-15 dance routines.
- Educate club members about the benefits of dance.
- Work with kids to choreograph dance routines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of dance.
- Patience working with children.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Minimum of 18 years of age with HS diploma/GED equivalent.
- Able to pass a background check and national sex offender registry check.
