Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child, typically ages 9 to 12 - to be that child's role model, mentor, and friend. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and their match relationship, providing suggestions, counsel, advice and assistance.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto-insurance, a safe driving record, and be able to pass an extensive background check.
This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for.
Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be mentors. We currently have several young boys enrolled as Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today!

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister means being a special friend and role model to a child through a one-to-one caring and consistent relationship. Programs are flexible to accommodate a variety of schedules.
