Hawaii Meals on Wheels operates Monday through Friday including all holidays that fall on a weekday. We serve hot lunch meals throughout most of the island to those that are homebound. Due to the impact of the pandemic, we have expanded our operation to an additional frozen meal program to serve a broader affected clientele.
Deliveries are broken up into various individual routes by area of the island. A route of meal deliveries to clients can consist of up to 12 people and takes about 1-hour to 1.5 hours to deliver.
We are very flexible and happy to work with our volunteers schedules, capacities, and preferences to find something that will be a perfect fit.

Mission Statement
Hawaii Meals on Wheels (HMoW) is dedicated to helping frail elders and individuals with disabilities preserve their independence at home. We do this by providing hot, nutritious meals and regular personal contact for those we serve.
Description
HMoW is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Volunteers deliver meals to approximately 180 home bound individuals daily, Monday through Friday.
