The success of our annual benefit requires a coordinated effort between Staff, Benefit Committee members, and volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to help in all aspects of the event planning, set-up and preparation, and of course to join our team of staff/volunteers that run the event on Saturday night, May 5th.
Responsibilities may include:
- inventorying, cataloging, data entry, and acknowledgement of auction items
- creative design for auction displays
- mass mailing preparation: stuff, seal and stamp
- guest registration into database
- Printing, sorting and collating
- data entry
- creative design work
- on-site set up
- check in / check out
- auction item management and collection
- clean up

Mission Statement
The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC) is dedicated to improving the mental and behavioral health of children and teens through treatment, education, and community support.
Description
Founded in 1954, the reach and diversity of our programs continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our communities. Our staff is comprised of highly-trained mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers who specialize in assessing and treating the needs of young people, ages birth to 18, and their families.
With office locations in Stamford, Greenwich and Darien (which also serves New Canaan residents), CGC provides comprehensive in-office and off-site services, as well as mobile emergency crisis intervention 365 days a year, for families regardless of their ability to pay.
CGC is licensed by the State of Connecticut, designated as an Enhanced Care Clinic since 2007, and accredited as a Child Advocacy Center by the National Children's Alliance since 2004.
