Bob Hope USO provides a "touch of home" to our military troops and their families as they travel through LAX Airport. Volunteers provide receptionist services, food and drinks, and general hospitality to insure our military forces see a comforting, friendly face and get all the help that they need. Volunteers have the rewarding experience of providing first-hand support to our service men and women, some of whom are returning from battle, in a full-service, first-class facility. Open 7 days a week, the Center operates 24/7 and needs to add volunteers for night shifts (10pm-2am, 2am-6am & 6am-10am daily).

Description
Bob Hope USO provides USO services and programming to 51,000 square miles of Central & Southern California, the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley. An independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating under a charter from USO, Inc., we provide morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military. We operate airport centers at LAX, Ontario International Airport, Orange County at John Wayne Airport and Palm Springs International Airport and a USO Center at Military Entrance Processing Station, Los Angeles. Although congressionally chartered, we are not a government agency and rely entirely on contributions from patriotic Americans and philanthropic corporations and organizations. Each year, we provide direct service to over 250,000 service members and their families.
