Part of what the American Red Cross does is provide relief to families who have been affected by recent disasters. In light of the floods and home fires that have been going on in northern Indiana, the Red Cross in South Bend is seeking people interested in doing casework with victims of the natural emergencies. We are seeking to make a team of caseworkers who can assist in times like this for families in our region.

Description
We have five lines of services in our mission: Disaster relief, supporting America's military families, biomedical, (blood collection) health & safety services, and international services.
If you're interested in building resiliency in your community against local hazards (house fires, snowstorms, rainstorms, etc.), we have many volunteer opportunities to get involved.
