What We Want:

We need a STORAGE SPACE donation to keep an assortment of items to our organization for shipment to our project site in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Our organization receives and collects a variety of items for our project site in Sierra Leone. Unfortunately, we have no place to store them and, therefore, are missing out on really excellent donation opportunities. We need someone to research and call possible businesses or individuals with space to donate to our 501C3 organization in the Washington Metro area - VA, MD, and DC.

Why We Need A Free Storage:

We do not have funding to pay for storage now. However, we need room to sort and organize the donated items for shipment. We are looking for a volunteer to research and find people with warehouses or other storage spaces that are willing to give to a 501C3 organization for a tax write-off.

Our Type Of Volunteer:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and persuasive volunteer to search online, tap into their networks, and find someone with a space that is willing to donate to our organization for a tax write-off. The minimum donation period we are looking for is 6 months to 1 year and above. If you have what it takes to help us, please get in touch.

Thanks.

Mission Statement

Creating Jobs and Employment for Youths in Africa!

Description

The Twenty-First Century African Youth Movement (AYM) is a beacon of hope for Africa's dynamic youth. Our core mission? Ignite opportunities! At AYM, we don't just talk change - we create it by generating jobs and fostering employment for the continent's burgeoning young population. Through our targeted initiatives, we're paving avenues for a prosperous, self-sufficient future, transforming the narrative of Africa's youth from seekers to achievers. Join us in molding the future leaders of Africa.

Our focus is to r espond to the huge unemployment and inactivity facing the vast majority of youth in Sierra Leone, a reality that reflects the African youth experience. AYM plans to expand its country-level support in Liberia, Ghana, and Gambia by the end of 2014.

Mobilizing Africa’s unemployed and underemployed youth is the key to the continent’s economic growth and stability. AYM works to mobilize marginalized youth through education, training, and creates entrepreneurial opportunities to help move communities away from poverty, disease, and hunger. AYM aims to establish personal empowerment and community resilience by energizing its critical youth population as change agents to reverse social and economic stagnation.
