We're in need of someone to run the registration desk and help manage our flow of volunteers. The desk gets a little hectic, but the tasks are simple: handing out name tags and giveaways when conference attendees check in; helping guests find the break out rooms; answering general questions; making sure presenters' needs are being met, etc. The Conference is at Little America and we would need your help from Sunday, June 3 - Thursday, June 7, 2018. Hours may vary a bit by date, but we would ask that you be able to work for 8 hours each day. We are able to pay a small stipend for 40 hours of work.

AALHE is a professional association for assessment practitioners at colleges, universities, and higher education support organizations. It provides resources and a forum to support assessment practitioners’ professional development and the open discussion of issues, strategies, policies, and processes associated with the use of assessment to improve student learning and institutional effectiveness in fostering student success.
Description
The Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE) is an organization of practitioners interested in using effective assessment practice to document and improve student learning. As such, it serves the needs of those in higher education for whom assessment is a tool to help them understand learning and develop processes for improving it.
AALHE is housed at the University of Kentucky, which provides generous technical and staff support, but the organization remains an independently incorporated, member-funded, non-profit entity recognized by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. AALHE is a charitable organization recognized as tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)(3).CAUSE AREAS
