Your local Lomita shelter for homeless women and children is in need of babysitters while mothers are in classes, studying, counseling and other activities. This is a great opportunity if you need to complete your high school service hours, retired or even for small groups. The days and hours are usually Weekdays from beginning anytime after 4pm and ending anytime before 9pm. Our biggest need is every Tuesday from 5pm-6:30pm or Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm-7:30pm. Please contact us if you love children and would like to engage in some fun activities with them.
Currently, there are NO NEEDS for WEEKEND volunteers.

Description
Community's Child is a nondenominational Christian program committed to providing homeless women with infants healthy alternatives to abuse, poverty, addictions, and hopelessness. The program offers homeless women and their infants a safe, compassionate, yet structured living environments. At Community's Child, women acquire the education, skills training, employment opportunities and support services, necessary to break the patterns associated with homelessness.
