We're looking for a volunteer to help with administrative tasks like mailing, creating documents and receiving calls.
The Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) focuses on preserving and revitalizing Rancho Cordova neighborhoods and helping residents to access City services and programs. NSD strives to be a dynamic committed partner in building strong and vibrant neighborhoods through developing partnerships, promoting collaborations and leveraging resources. Ultimately, our investment in healthy neighborhoods is an investment in our residents, a sense of community and shared pride.
The Neighborhood Services Division consists of three (3) divisions:
- Animal Services Division
- Code Enforcement Division
- Volunteers In Neighborhood Services (VINS Program)

Mission Statement
Welcome to the City of Rancho Cordova’s Volunteer Page through the City of Rancho Cordova Community Engagement Division! The Community Engagement Division focuses on the most important natural resource we have: people! Residents of Rancho Cordova have worked tirelessly to build neighborhood coalitions, clean-up neighborhoods, plant gardens, build relationships, and create a sense of community, making this a fun and safe place to live, work, and play. The Community Engagement Division recently created Volunteer Central, a web platform that helps those interested in serving learn about about volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
