help the orphans and vulnerable children
in jinja walukuba attending to the orphans and vulnerable children

Hello there! My name is Bulera, and I run a non-government charity organisation which aims to improve the lives of poor orphaned and vulnerable children who have seen their lives negatively affected by H.I.V./AIDS and war, many of whom suffer from visual, hearing and physical disabilities. Our organisation provides education, counselling and home tracing for the families of these street children. We also do our best in providing shelter and rehabilitation for these kids, and provide assistance for some of the drug adictted children into reconstructing them into better citizens. We believe that together we can make a better place for the vulnerable children of Uganda. We currently take care of 150 children and a community based program of 200 children. Provision of basic needs and support to all these children is our major problem since we consist of a small group of volunteers, so our hope is to get as much help as possible from volunteers (both locally and abroad) to help develop the project and provide the basic necessities that these children deserve. We hope to work with you in the lines of providing knowledge of self esteem, self confidence, counselling and guidance to the orphans by constructing a flexible and empowered life skilled program for the growth and development of the children. These include individual assesments, preparing foods and drinks, teaching etc. Your input is also very important to us, as this will help us learn and develop our project!

Mission Statement

The Mission of Bulera Millennium Child Ministries (BMCM) is to rebuild lives of the most vulnerable children of Uganda specifically war internally displaced H.I.V/AIDS orphans ,disabled children and homeless street kids allowing them to be positive contributing members of their communities

Bulera Millennium Child Ministries is a Legally registered Community Based Organization, operating in jinja, Uganda.

Bulera Millennium Child Ministries was founded on April 15th 2014 by Mr. Bulera Muzafalu, a bonafide resident of Nalufeenya Village Jinja District.

In Africa it takes a whole village to raise a child, however in this ministry’s short period of history we have witnessed child neglect living in appalling conditions, which militates against our parental and community function as a redemptive social organ for the vulnerable children of Africa. Many of the children we take care of have been subject to domestic violence, child pregnancies and labour, rape, HIV/AIDS, children displaced from their northern cradle lands by war violence... to mention but a few. We urgently needed to form support relationships with concerned members and stakeholders in rebuilding the life of these vulnerable children, as these recurring problems are the hardest tasks to manage.

this inspired Mr. Bulera to start up a cause of change to bring a positive impact to the community. 'To make the world a better place for the children of Africa and their communities'
