Its hard to function as an adult if you never learned to read and write.
We need compassionate, resourceful Reading Teachers to help some of our Men at Gospel Rescue Mission learn to read. Time frame will vary depending on the student's schedule and availability of a Reading Teacher.

Description
Gospel Rescue Mission operates a homeless shelter for men and a shelter for women and women with children. In addition to providing emergency needs to the homeless population, both shelters operate long term residential recovery and education programs. These programs include: drug and alcohol recovery and relapse prevention; academic education; computer literacy; counseling; job readiness; and life skills training. We also provide food boxes, clothing,and household items to needy Tucson residents.
