We LOVE Volunteers!

Welcome visually impaired and blind individuals into our center. Build experience working with people who have disabilities. Job entails: greeting guests to center, signing in guests, answering and transferring phone calls, providing general info about center, and more.

Front desk help is always needed. Strong priority needs during the following times:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday anytime between 11am-2pm

***Needed especially on Wednesdays 12-3pm

Description

Braille Institute offers a variety of services to people who are blind and visually impaired, from mobility and technology training, to low vision rehabilitation and home visits, to arts and exercise classes, to a vast library of braille and audio titles for every age, and more. Each year, we help tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their independence. Thanks to generous donations, Braille Institute services are available free of charge.
