Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties is committed to providing low-income families assistance. Our team of home visitors and volunteers help pregnant women and youth from birth to age three. Head Start preschools offers high quality education for children ages 3-5. Assist the Head Start recruitment-enrollment team.

Supervisor: Head Start Recruitment Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of application forms, recruitment packets, place stickers or tags on recruitment items (trinkets), stuff envelopes, or other assembly projects as needed. Turn in a timesheet within two days of completing the task

Qualifications:

Physical dexterity to add stickers to promotional items, repetitive movement to compile information packets, use a stapler, stuffing envelopes, and other office tasks;

Able to understand simple directions in English;

Able to work independently after task described, ask for help when needed;

Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Karen, helpful but not required;

Individual or group of up to 50 members; Age 18+ (Age 13+ with an adult supervising)

Time Commitment: Minimum of 2+ hours at least once. Our greatest need is March thru July.

Group Size: One to fifty members

Location: Pick up the materials, assemble at your location and return the competed items. Please schedule at least two weeks in advance, due to logistics.

Another option is to reserve and use a room at 450 Syndicate Street N, St Paul, MN - if space is available. Office hours are from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday - Friday, schedule with the supervisor if completing project at Community Action office. Must RSVP at least one month in advance to reserve a room.
