Yard Sale Volunteers needed- Fridays

We at the Pay it Forward Farm (PIFF) work to empower women and families, with the goal of empowering them to become self-sufficient. Through a "hand up, not a hand-out," women receive assistance with job training, life skills, transportation, etc., and a large part of our funding comes from our yard sales.

That's where you come in! Your work will help us manage our yard sales, so that we can gain the funds we need to support our members on their journey towards independence. We hope to meet you soon!

Volunteers are needed during our Friday yard sales between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Required skills and areas of assistance are:

  • Sorting donations
  • Helping load/ unload trailer before/ after sales
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Organizational skills a plus

Description

We are an organization that helps Single Mom families with "a hand up an not a hand out" We are located on a 10 acres in the Shady Hills area and offer such things as professional and personal development classes as well as an onsite pantry and thrift store for our members.
