Respite events, or "Foster Parents Day Out," are events that give foster and adoptive parents a much needed break and the kiddos a chance to socialize with other children who have experienced similar situations as their own. In order to make these events run smoothly and have enough adults to interact with each child, FosterAdopt Connect needs volunteers. These volunteers could be anyone age 16 and older who are willing and able to care for children in a large group setting. It is preferred volunteers have had previous experience working with children. A simple background screening will be conducted for each volunteer.

Please contact Maggie Kaiser at maggie@fosteradopt.org with questions. Thank you!
