Compassus Hospice is an organization that serves the Philly, Bucks, and Montgomery counties by offering hospice and palliative care to terminally ill patients and provides support to family members once a patient has passed.
While our patients and family members are in their own homes or skilled nursing facilities in the area, our Fort Washington office handles all administrative needs and supplies for the region. A great need has developed in our administrative office for an afternoon receptionist.
This volunteer receptionist position would assist our admin staff with taking calls from patients, family members, hospitals, nursing homes, billing agencies, and our own field staff. A volunteer would need to be comfortable with transferring calls (we will train/teach you) and understand how to answer the phone professionally and offer respect and care when taking a delicate call. While basic computer skills can be helpful for this position, it is perfectly okay if you are not tech savy ~ a great personality will do!
Training is provided to all applicants! We also offer our volunteers a very flexible schedule by letting you choose the amount of time and the day/s of the week you are able to volunteer.
Currently, we are looking at creating volunteer shifts for the afternoon hours anywhere between 12:30pm-5pm Monday through Friday.
For more information or to schedule an interview, please reach out to Shaun at 215-557-7300 or email@example.com.
