The Marching Elite - Elite Fire Dance Team is looking for coaches to join our coaching team and help us develop our competitive majorette teams in Baltimore City and Owings Mills.
Hip-hop majorette dancing is high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves that draws heavily from jazz, hip-hop, and gymnastics/acro. If candidates have no majorette experiences, we will absolutely consider someone with traditional dance experience in any genre who can eventually learn the majorette technique.
Our Baltimore team rehearses in the Cherry Hill Homes Community Center in South Baltimore (2700 Spelman Road). Our Owings Mills team will rehearse at Timber Grove Elementary School in Baltimore County (701 Academy Avenue). Coaches can elect to work with both teams if their schedules allow.
Our Baltimore City team practices Tuesday and Thursday 6 - 8pm. Our Owings Mills team practices Saturdays between 10am and 3pm. Coaches needed from Minis ages 5 -7, Junior ages 8 - 11, Senior ages 12 - 18.
Our girls are beginners and range in age from 5 to 18. We will be preparing them for competitions, field shows, parades, performances and sporting events.
We have a great vision for the young ladies who will become part of The Marching Elite which includes local and national exposure. We are looking for coaches who can be dedicated to their teams.
Please let us know about your dance experience when you apply. Thanks!
