RSVP of Snohomish County
Sometimes in life, we just need someone to listen to our story. If you like helping people, consider being a Peer to Peer counselor. In this program you receive training and are matched with a person over 60 who has experienced a recent traumatic event in their life. You meet and talk for an hour a week. Periodic status reports are required and there are training updates you would have to attend.
You and the client would be from the same general area.
Clients can meet with a counselor for up to 6 months, though matches don't usually last that long.
