Art and Activities assistant volunteers help our patients to continue enjoying their favorite activities and Arts & crafts in group settings and at beside. There are a variety of ways that volunteers assist with this. Some patients want company to have coffee and chat with, or to be read to, or to sit in the courtyard or go for walks with, or they need help painting their nails, or writing a letter, some want a volunteer to sit with them and assist at group activities like bingo, arts & crafts, book club, or socials. The opportunities are endless!
This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain experience in activity management, hospice or healthcare, social work, nursing, chaplaincy, or geriatrics.
