ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross of Idaho and Montana

The Home Fire Campaign helps save lives by installing free smoke alarms in homes that don't have them, and by educating people about home fire safety.

On April 27-28, 2018, in West Boise, we need companies and organizations to volunteer to install free smoke alarms. Teams of three will visit homes, install smoke alarms, replace batteries, teach residents how to test and maintain their smoke alarms, help draft an escape plan and document the visit. Ladders and tools will be available, but we encourage volunteers to bring these supplies. Each volunteer will be asked to pre-register for the event at http://www.redcross.org/local/idaho/home-fire-safety and choose the date(s) that interests you. The site will give access to online training, reminders and other important information.
