Girls on the Run is a non-profit after-school program with a mission of empowering girls to be happy, healthy and themselves! The Girls on the Run 5k is the culminating event for our girls. Help us celebrate all that they have accomplished throughout their 10-week curriculum.
No matter your special skill or talent we have a role for you! Volunteer roles range from passing out medals at the finish line to handing out water at an aid station. Take a look at the different volunteer opportunities within the 5k and register by visiting our website!

We prepare 3rd-8th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Description
Girls on the Run is a life-changing, experiential learning programs for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing and empowering workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
