Please join us Wednesday, May 16th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. here at the LLS Office for a Light The Night call night. We will be reaching out to all unregistered team captains from the past two years to help get them registered for this year’s walk!
We promise these are not cold calls! Those being contacted have participated with us in the past and are very familiar with LLS and Light The Night. Most of our team captains view our phone calls as a courtesy and are happy to hear from us and are already planning their fundraisers for this year but have not yet started by registering their team! A script and phones to use will be provided.
Dinner will be provided for all volunteers!

Mission Statement
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.
Description
Volunteers are our partners in the crusade to end cancer. In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Central Ohio Chapter was founded in 1994 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves 38 counties in Ohio including Franklin, Clark, Licking, Allen & Muskingum.
