2016 Exchange

We are an Oakland-based community non-profit seeking a Videographer with a creative eye and passion for storytelling to be available to shoot footage of our outdoor event on Sat., March 23.

We are looking for a multi-talented videographer who can shoot and edit footage. You need to have your own video equipment. If you also have interest in helping us develop several 3-5 minute videos we can also discuss that. You would need to be comfortable using video editing tools for the production. Any experience with creating and writing scripts is extremely helpful!

About Us
The Plant Exchange is an annual event in which members of the 9 Bay Area counties come together to exchange plants and other gardening related products for free. This is a 100% volunteer run organization serving the community for over 10 years and we are looking to continue to broaden our reach. For more information please check out our website at www.theplantexchange.org.

As we are a volunteer based non-profit organization, we cannot offer financial compensation; however, the cost of the finished product can be considered a tax-free donation and you may request our tax ID number.

This would be an excellent project for a local professional, current film student or recent grad looking to build their portfolio, or a local film buff desiring to serve their community. Please help us develop and document our growth by adding video and short clips that will help us tell our story.
