Americas for Conservation + the Arts (AFC+A) is an environmental non- profit organization advancing cultural and ecological resilience, leveraging the arts for conservation gains. Americas for Conservation + the Arts (AFC+A) and its two central initiatives: The Americas Latino Eco-Festival (ALEF) and Mandel Vilar Press (MVPress) were established in Colorado out of a frustration and a hope. ​​​

Each year AFCA hosts the Americas Latino Eco-Festival (ALEF) in Denver, Co. Now in its 6th year, ALEF is the largest multicultural environmental annual event of its kind leveraging Latino leadership for conservation gains. ALEF advocates for an integrated local and national conservation agenda. The 2018 Americas Latino Eco Festival (ALEF) will be held September 27th through September 30th. We are looking for an energetic, social media savvy individual to assist with the development of our electronic communications, website management, press releases and social media content. The successful candidate will collaborate with the senior leadership team to understand and incorporate our key message points into media content that will be transmitted multiple times around the world in multiple languages.

AFC+A and its main four programs, the annual Americas Latino Eco-Festival ALEF (leveraging the arts and Latino leadership for conservation gains) Mandel Vilar Press MVP (advancing diversity and conservation in publishing), United Cultures for Arts + Nature Youth Ambassadors U-CAN (growing the next generation of diverse eco leaders), Latina Environmental Giving Circle LEGC (powering Latina environmental stewardship) aim at environmental and multicultural education and a diverse, non segregated, and inclusive conservation agenda.
