We are looking for volunteers to help us with a variety of tasks:
- Donation drives - Dropping off and picking up of donation bins from our community partners, as well as assisting with donation drive coordination (must be able to provide valid driver's license, auto insurance, and driving records)
- Special events - Help at donor thanking events, fundraisers, and client outreach events.
- Know Poverty Hour - Help at our twice-monthly poverty awareness event (First 2 Thursdays of every month from 5-6pm) with setup, cleanup, and other tasks during the event to help it run smoothly.

Catholic Community Services offers immediate help by providing food and other assistance to anyone in need and seeks to instill hope by helping Lane County families take positive steps to move out of poverty.
Description
CCS provides help and hope for our neighbors in need, addressing the community issue of poverty in Lane County.
We rely on a dedicated staff and a diverse coalition of volunteers from all faiths and backgrounds to perform essential work in our community. Our areas of focus include affordable immigration legal services, refugee resettlement, energy assistance, rent assistance, homelessness prevention, no cost food, no cost clothing, and a variety of other no cost services and supplies. Building on a history that stretches back to 1952, CCS continues to respond to local needs with compassion and creativity.
CCS works with the support of a wide range of partners, including City of Eugene, City of Springfield, Emerald People's Utility District, Eugene Water and Electric Board, FOOD for Lane County, HEAT Oregon, Lane County Human Services Division, Oregon Department of Human Services, Springfield Utility Board, Catholic Charities Oregon, Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Parishes of Lane County, and more than 1,000 donors, foundations, volunteers, churches and community organizations.
