Making Strides Publicity & Marketing Chair Position Summary
The Publicity Chair promotes MSABC with advertising, Public Service
Announcements (PSAs), press releases, articles, letters to the editor, calendar
postings and TV/ radio coverage using approved MSABC Communication
resources. This person will coordinate the communications campaign to
showcase and promote the event and inform the public. The person has
responsibility for taking meeting minutes.

This is the first official year for the American Cancer Societies Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Every three-five mile Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, and raise awareness about steps we can take to reduce the risk of getting breast cancer.
Description
Making Strides is a fundraising walk rasing funds for The American Cancer Society for breast cancer research and FREE programs for cancer patients.
This is event is open to runners, walkers, families, survivors, caregivers, patients, businesses, teachers, students. We invite our entire community to join together to raise money and walk to show we are in this together! Register and join us in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! Nobody walks alone!
