In 2019, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) will be celebrating its 100th anniversary! As part of our Centennial Celebration, AMS would like to create a video tour of its headquarters, located on Beacon Street in Boston. We are looking for a volunteer with experience in filming, production, and editing who would be interested in taking on this exciting project. Duties would include scripting to shooting and final editing of a virtual tour highlighting this historically significant 4-story home built in 1806.
You would work with the AMS archivist to create a script focusing on interesting historical facts about AMS Headquarters and then shoot and edit the video tour. This is a great opportunity for any student or recent graduate wishing to add the experience of completing a professional video to their resume. Candidates would need to provide their own equipment. If you would like to volunteer for this project, please send a letter of interest as well as background information on your experience as a videographer to volunteer@ametsoc.org
