Bridging is a traditional ceremony for Girl Scout members when they advance to the next program level. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri is celebrating our 100 th anniversary this year and will be hosting a large scale event to celebrate. As a council we are hosting a large bridging ceremony downtown on the Eads Bridge on Saturday, May 12 th from 10am to 1:30pm. Our members will have the opportunity to walk across the bridge in a large ceremony and then enjoy a picnic lunch and activities near the arch grounds. We will need many volunteers to help with crowd control, ceremony components and activities at the arch grounds.
