Community Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) to be a mentor and friend, to be a positive influence in the child's life. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month.

Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the volunteer and the match relationship, providing available advice, counsel, suggestions and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, have a safe driving record, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters [of America] is best and most known for.

Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak has several Little Brothers enrolled waiting to be matched with a Big Brother. We are in high need for male volunteers! Please consider volunteering today!
