What’s the best way to celebrate spring’s arrival? Planting of course!
April 7th also happens to be National Beer Day! How are we celebrating? Our friends and awesome community partner, Sun King Brewery, is giving all 21 year old+ volunteers a $5 gift card to the brewery.
Come help transform a sparse tree canopy into a flourishing one by planting 102 large-growing, 1" caliper shade trees in the northern corner of Washington Park. City trees help reduce the effects of urban heat island and storm water runoff, while providing us protection from harmful U/V rays. We hope you will be a part of this high-impact project and the 10,000 Trees initiative!
