About

Community Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) to build a trusting mentoring relationship. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same youth two to four times a month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering suggestions, counsel and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for.

Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in high need for male volunteers to be mentors to Little Brothers who are enrolled and waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today!
