This is an Unpaid Volunteer Opportunity and Associate Directors are expected to put in a minimum of 10 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 2 days (or less as per group's requirement).
Associate Directors must be willing to attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings as and when required.

The Role (Summary) :
Save the Water(tm) is seeking a Fundraising Associate Director (Private Donations). What you will be responsible for....
- Assist the Director of Fundraising in growing our nonprofit organization, its management & strategy.
- Provide input during the Quarterly Executive meetings.
- Oversee the management of private donations division, supporting the fundraising director as necessary and ensuring production of effective, high-quality proposals and reports.
- In cooperation with the fundraising director, lead the development of any long-term strategy to achieve agreed long-term organizational goals.
- Manage and Lead a team of 5-15 volunteers, holding them accountable for their work.
- Develop & Maintain a comprehensive fundraising and donor database
- Ensure completion of administrative aspects of fundraising
- Attend monthly Operations & Fundraising Group meetings
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures & documents for the organization
Apply Now if you have.... (Experience/Requirements)
- Bachelor degree (or currently enrolled in a degree program) or comparable work experience (at least 4 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience).
- Demonstrable experience in cultivating major fundraising campaigns through Private/Personal Philanthropic Donation Campaigns, Grant Writing. Online Fundraising etc.
- Successful track record of meeting/exceeding fundraising goals in a nonprofit organization.
- Experience in creating successful direct mail, marketing materials, online giving appeals including social media, and campaigns including integration of e-commerce platform for a payment gateway.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with fundraising databases and best practices.
- Minimum 4+ years of fundraising, sales, marketing, communications, event planning experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or other Customer Relationship Management or equivalent software
- Excellent planning & time management skills.
- Focused attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and with an ability to focus on details.
- Effective oral communication skills and a clear, courteous and professional manner.
- Capacity for self-direction, with tact and diplomacy, and for working cooperatively.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
