Looking for volunteers to help with the planning process for the lung cancer charity walk on on 10/13/18 at Slater Park-Dagget Farm in Pawtucket. Volunteers can give as much time as they have and volunteer in whichever role(s) they feel most comfortable. Roles include:
Marketing/Promotion (including distributing fliers and even recruiting teams at local businesses, churches, associations, etc.)
New Sponsor Outreach
In-Kind Asks for refreshments, kids activities, etc.
Volunteer Recruitment for event day

The Lung Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting lung cancer research. Our mission is to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer.

Lung Cancer Research Foundation is comprised of leading doctors, researchers, patient advocates, and lung cancer survivors who are working together to improve treatments for lung cancer patients. We are dedicated to raising public awareness of the disease and generating funding for lung cancer research. Our Free to Breathe event series hosts walks and yoga events across the country to raise awareness of the disease and raise funding critical to advancing our mission.
