About

Seeking an off-duty professional to implement effective strategies for a short-term project on public health in the film industry. The successful candidate will create and implement our brand -- how to deliver healthcare to film and post-production industries both in person and virtually -- and get it in front of the right audience. Objectives include: research and implement effective strategies to promote project; find effective social media channels to promote stages of work; write and create content for publication in film magazines and medical journals, and accelerate their publication; identify venues and trade shows to sell setMD concept, and conduct outreach to connect with professionals in fields. Experience in business, online marketing, social media, communications, design, and/or other similar fields is required, as well as excellent communication skills, passion for content creation, and an interest in health, wellness, and film.

About the project: This project will consist of a film and audio series focusing on health and wellness in the film industry -- specifically on the unique medical and mental health issues pertaining to the film/television/media workers, and intriguing new technology to assist in a delivery of quality healthcare to those on film sets.

Schedule : Minimum of 25 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred

Compensation : Unpaid/Apprentice/Volunteer

Location : Convenient to public transportation and Kendall Square

Job Type : Volunteer; non-profit. 3-month commitment

Experience: Must be able to succeed in a small film crew-like environment, where initiative is valued and independent thinking is a must. Individuals must be able to collaborate on all project goals and meet numerous deadlines. Candidates must have strong leadership skills, must be passionate about the physical and emotional health of those in the media industry, and must have a strong desire to spread awareness and help prevent endemic illnesses, as well as injuries.

Interlock Media Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting environmental and social change through the film, video, and radio mediums. Its mission is to support informed empowerment at the grassroots and community level by producing educational mediaworks; by carrying media techniques and technologies to the community level; and guaranteeing that production is an inclusive and diversified process. Our productions are historical, musical, artistic, and contemporary.
