"Spring Back to Basics: Re-rooting Families" Event

We will be empowering parents and guardians to start building a strong and stable foundation for their children, and in effort to expand our community awareness outreach services we will also have education, health and wellness vendors. The vendors will have prevention, intervention and awareness resources for parents, infant/ youth, and information on healthcare services. Our goal is to help parents and guardians begin building healthy relationships and find unity in the community. The families will join Honey’s Haven with coloring their own family planter- to represent the "Re-Rooting Our Families" with the soil and tulips. Encouraging new traditions, discovering how important healthy activities and being family engaged with the community will have a positive effect on our youth today. Families will also be entertained with music, arts and crafts, games, raffles, bounce houses, and much more in a positive and healthy environment.

A critical component of "Spring Back to Basics: Re-Rooting Our Families" is the one-on-one support provided by volunteers who can help direct families at registration, guide ones to designated activity areas, assist with activities in certain areas (Honey’s Haven Planting Area, Arts & Crafts, Game Room, Bounce House Attendants, or in the concession area).

The goal during this event again- is to help parents and guardians begin building healthy relationships within the families, fellow citizens, and find unity in the community.
