Heart to Heart Hospice in Southgate is looking for volunteers to sit with our clients on a weekly to bi-weekly basis. Scheduling is flexible. Volunteering sites can be scheduled within 20 minutes of your residence or work. Some activities clients might enjoy are listening to you read from a book or newspaper, watching television with them, talking about who they are and the things that they've seen, hand massage, or even just being there as they rest.
Heart to Heart-Southgate serves the downriver community, and as far north as Canton, Westland, Dearborn. This opportunity is perfect for seniors, Veterans, retirees, students, and those who simply would like to give back to the community.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
