Volunteers are needed to help with setup, directing crowds, monitoring the food line, supervising family activities and clean up at Thriving Germantown's Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 28. The event runs from 10am-2pm and will be held at the Captain James E. Daly Elementary School located at 20301 Brandermill Drive in Germantown. (This event was rescheduled from April 7).

We're looking for a dozen volunteers to help during each shift: 9am-12noon and 12noon-3pm.

Students age 16+ are welcome to volunteer. All volunteers need to complete the Family Services Volunteer Application and submit it to mary.murphy@fs-inc.org before the event.

Thriving Germantown (TG) Community HUB provides an integrated response to the increasing economic and social disparities found in Germantown, MD. Project priorities are to mitigate the negative social determinants of health and wellness, educational success and social outcomes, and to particularly address adverse childhood experiences. Thriving Germantown is a program of Family Services, Inc. and our partner community agencies and organizations. See the FSI website for details.
