Share your experience and expertise. If you have accounting experience, our Finance team is looking for you. The team has updated the procedures, now we’re looking for someone to manage the update process.

Help us update our Finance Manual.

Responsibilities:

• Create the table of contents page(s)
• Organize the updated accounting procedures of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Month-End and Year-End into one document
• Link the Page number between the Table of Contents to the actual document

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work proactively and independently, communicating well with staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with staff

For this position the volunteer will have access to accounting and payroll files; therefore, we will request a credit and background check. The prospective volunteer will be asked to sign the authorization forms to allow for the credit check and background check, to be performed at SHFB expense.

Our need is immediate. The volunteer will work directly with the Director of Finance. The hours are flexible but must be agreed with the director.
