Join your friends, neighborhood and community as we clean up our local clubhouse! The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor is hosting the first ever Clubhouse Clean-Up at our Wilmington location. All ages and families are welcome, definitely great team building and family community service project. This event will kick off National Volunteer Week and to conclude or National Boys & Girls Club Week. Great opportunity to give back and make an impact within your community. Jobs may include but are not limited to; landscaping, general clean-up, painting, organizing, bulletin boards, and yard work.
Supplies and food will be provided for the volunteers.

Time: 9:30 AM-1:30 PM
Requirements: Picture ID & Waiver (will be provided during check-in)

Description
BGCLAH offers assistance to youth, specifically low-income youth. We offer daily programming which includes Academics (tutoring), Athletics (sports leagues, general sports), Arts, STEM, Music, Dance, and College Preparation. We have needs in all program areas in which outreaching for consistent volunteers are vital for our organization to run since our members thrive off of 1-on-1 assistance. We also have a need for our Food Distribution Program (Weekend Wellness) which hosts a once a month distribution for our families and the community facing food insecurity. We need volunteers for this program since it requires a lot more labor and the more hands on deck, the more beneficial it is for our staff and program to run.
