Share your experience and expertise. If you have experience with fixed assets, you are organized and you can drive a project to completion, our Finance team is looking for you. Help us implement our Fixed Asset tagging system.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Fixed Asset Tagging Policy
- Search the Software and Hardware
- Implement the Fixed Asset Tagging system
- Assign the Fixed Assets Tag
- Test the scanner system
- Confirm the data migration completeness
Requirements:
- Ability to work proactively and independently, communicating well with staff.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with staff
- Strong computer skills and experience
Our need is immediate. The volunteer will work directly with the Director of Finance. The hours are flexible but must be agreed with the director.

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is a private non-profit organization that collects and distributes more than 12 million pounds of food each month. We currently serve an average of over 500,000 individuals each month; 60% are low income families and 20% are seniors. By building collaborative networks, we efficiently distribute food by leveraging donations of money, food and human resources. But we cannot do it alone.
