Join us at the Nisqually Land Trust's Mount Rainier Gateway protected area for a morning of litter patrol and weed control!

This beautiful site in the shadow of Mount Rainier contains some of the Land Trust's oldest forest and is an important habitat for several threatened species. Join us here to collect litter, remove invasive vinca, and explore this unique part of the watershed!

The Nisqually Land Trust acquires and manages critical lands to permanently benefit the water, wildlife, and people of the Nisqually River Watershed.

Description

The Nisqually Land Trust is a non-profit organization that acquires, maintains, and restores important lands along the Nisqually River to viable habitat for salmon and other wildlife.

It was established in 1989 to protect wildlife habitat threatened by the consequences of rapid population growth. Today it conserves and restores over 5,000 acres throughout the Nisqually River watershed.
